Terry Pollard has spent more than 10 years working with innovators and technology entrepreneurs in the Oxford area. For the last 5 years Terry has also worked with clients based out of Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and China.
With a background in physics and an MBA from Imperial College London, Terry is able to help scientists and engineers to identify the key commercial benefits of their work, and then work with them to transfer this knowledge into commercial products and services.
Terry was a key figure during the planning and creation of several successful spin-out companies from the University of Oxford. One of these, Velocys Plc, is now listed on the London AIM market.
Oksana Pollard has 6 years of experience working with scientists and inventors in the rocket and space areas. She has a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property and extensive experience dealing with patents in Russia and Ukraine.
Oksana was a finalist in the CRDF Global Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program, delivering a winning business pitch at their entrepreneurship development boot camp. She was then invited to take part in a delegation to visit San Francisco (Silicon Valley), Boston, and Washington DC, to network with start-up investors, serial entrepreneurs, and representatives of international business and investment communities.
Oksana has studied TRIZ (Russian algorithm for "Theory of Inventive Problem Solving") and other techniques to promote creative thinking. Oksana is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
On a project-by-project basis we are able to bring in the talents of a selection of industry experts from the extensive business networks centred around the golden triangle of Oxford, Cambridge and London. These include:
- former CEO of a medical devices company with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry
